Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is in charge of covering all things including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Being the daughter and the mother of two NASA astronauts, Kristin grew up in the industry of space. She worked for the past five years reporting on the Biden and Trump Space Policy of the Administration as a White House Correspondent for FOX News. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign as well as both administrations' efforts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus The reporter also covered a range of other subjects. She also traveled extensively with the President and Vice President, including a top secret visit to Afghanistan together with the former president Donald Trump. Kristin was a fixture in the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for nearly a decade before joining the network. She was awarded an Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as a CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized creating documentary-style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber Hotels and Resorts as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., with her entire family, which includes their daughter, who is three years old.
